Is it too late to buy a 1br condo in Miami beach? I used to see prices in the 40-60k range in 2010. Now, the same condos are selling at 80-100k...

Is it still possible to find good deals in South Florida (I mean not getting ripped off by professional flippers)? Which areas should I be looking for? Thanks!

Miami Beach is a GREAT place to live, visit, frolic and thrive!

It is possible to find a good deal; Miami Beach is not quite the home-place of bargains.
All is relative; Here is a great link that will help you determine the place, price and community

Miami Beach is one of the few market areas in south Florida that has suffered less the impact of the downturn of the economy in the Real Estate and evidently is recovering pretty fast so I consider that if one wants to buy for homestead or investment, this is the right moment to proceed. I have a "short sale" condo listing in South Beach with the price approved by lender on a 23rd floor and spectacular views of ocean, bay , port , and skyline. If you or somebodyelse you know is interested, just contact me, please. Thanks.
