PeaceandPowerParenting,

It should be possible - if you don't have an agent helping you; give me a call. I currently have a number of active short sales and can explain the process to you. We would need to act immediately to be most successful though. I have a strategy that could possibly delay the short sale. It depends on your lender and how many days until your sale date.

Peaceandpowerparenting-- we would need more details to see if a short sale may be done. I have had my short sellers trustee sale (foreclosure sale) postponed but everyone's situation may vary, somewhat. Feel free to contact me directly at 818-903-2040. Good luck.

Forget the referral; I was thinking El Ceritos, by Berkeley. Sorry about that.
But everything else was spot-on.
Good luck

You can try:

TODAY; list the property with a good Realtor;
Give the Realtor your Loan information; they will contact your Bank and ask them to DELAY the Trustee Sale.
If the Bank says yes; you will have about 60 days to give them something concrete;
you will have to immediately send them a HARDSHIP letter,
and you will hope that you can get an Offer very soon to satisfy the Bank.

If you need a referral, there is an excellent Broker in El Sobrante who has done many:
Mike Rowland, at Windermere Rowland Realty, 400 Appian Wat, 510-222-9150.

Good luck and may God bless
