I get the feeling that a lot of the people considering or letting the bank foreclose on them would think that filing bankruptcy, being evicted from an apartment or accepting food stamps would be "out of the question." But because of lack of information, they think that if they just give up the house everything will be fine. Do the pros get this same impression or am I naive?
If you are dealing with or considering a foreclosure, have you or would you accept food stamps? Would you be willing to declare bankruptcy? Would you sleep in your car or a shelter? Please fill us in on your thought process.
P.S. Please tell me if this sounds rude and I should remove it. I'm sincerely concerned and am trying to understand the psychology.
