I like to ask is beverly hills an older community where most people are post retirement, in comparison to malibu where all the young people are?

No ,there are many younger people moving in ,it does just not get the same press as Malibu !

I would say the demographic is similar. The important difference is lifestyle and commute. Beverly Hills is in the middle of everything; there is a lot to do and you are close to all Los Angeles has to offer. Malibu is way out there, geographically. It's quite a commute to anywhere, which is why people like it there. I live in Beverly Hills and love and spend a lot of time in Malibu. I love both. Both are swanky, one central, one remote.
