what price to offer. Does the VA negotiate?? Do they evaulate the bidders first and then look at their offered price? I'm afraid I'll bid too low and get rejected w/o even a counter offer.

Since you have an agent no other agent can give you specific advise on how to make an offer on a property. It would violate the Realtor Code of Ethics. Please give them a call and have them walk you through the process.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you looking at a property with sealed bids or are you looking at a property that is listed in the MLS and wondering what to offer? If you aren't working with an agent then you should find an agent who is familiar with the foreclosure process who can help you determine the right value for the property.
