How do I find out the bank's break-even amount? Is the bank really going to tell me that if I call them?

And a Used car Dealer will tell you how much he has in that Pick-Up.
And SEARS will publish their costs on all their Appliances.
We in Real Estate have to settle for knowing what a House is WORTH.

No they will not tell you. Make your best or close to best offer to secure the home you want. I have seen many people loose out on a fantastic deal by trying to sharpshoot.

Hello Beth,

No. You won't be able to.
Some lenders post the min they would take nowadays.
However, most won't.

Hope this helps,

First off, you can't really even call them. Even if you had a number. Secondly, they won't even talk to you. Banks will never talk to buyers, ever. So, no, the won't ever tell you something like that.
