Could someone please help me save my home....?

Asked by Billyboi, Lexington, NC Mon Jul 23, 2012

I am a 51 year old man, who has been trying my best to struggle through the past few years of what seems to be the hardest times I have ever faced. I was laid off due to lack of work the end of 2008, most of our orders had been sent to China. I have developed a heart condition, which the doctor stated had been brought on more from the stress as well as now becoming a diabetic. I have always strived to have a home, something instilled in me from my parents and grandparents, a place to call home and giving one’s self a bit of security in the fact it is something to call your own. The thoughts of losing my home has made my condition even worse and I hate to admit it but I wonder if the next life could be as bad as it has been over the past couple years. Please if there is any way you could help, it would be greatly appreciated, anything to stop my home from being foreclosed.

We don't serve the Lexington area, but you should start with . They will have some good resources. You may also want to try but you are going to have to get a job or some kind of income stream before you are going to be able to do anything.

thanks, I have tried all avenues with either being told they could not help me or that I didnt qualify for the program. I am sending out resumes, filling out applications and making contacts on a daily basis, with a full time job, I would not be in this situation, and i have/still trying my best to find a full time job, with no success at this point.
