Can an individual get hired to take photos from an REO listing agent of a foreclosed property of a bank or a landlord?

Certainly....but from our experience, most agents take their own photos to represent the property on the MLS. Not sure if there is a great demend for this service.

Sure thing I have done this before just as a favor, but I now there are companies out there who do this and charge for it....

Sure, but understand there's not much profit in this. We're currently paying about $10/property for this. So you have to figure out a way to do lots of them quickly and at one time to be profitably. Remember BPOs only pay about $50-$150 to the agent.

Yes, they sure can. A REO listing agent can independently hire who ever they choose to take photos for BPO's or for properties they are about to list. There are several companies out there already who offer these services.
