Currently houses & duplexes built after 2013 lease between $0.94-$3.05 / sqft depending upon the area and size of the property. However there are only 10 of these within 20 miles of Downtown ATX. Take out the criteria for new construction and the spread ranges from $0.64-$4.26 / sqft as of 5/24/14 @ 2:40pm. Please note that Austin has a housing shortage and the best values have multiple offers in the leasing & purchase marketplace. We've roughly 160 people move to the city everyday according to the Austin Business Journal. Securing a good value in Austin is definitely more an art than a science. Feel free to call and garner a winning strategy to meeting your Deciding Criteria.

Cheers!
