I think a hotel room is your best bet if you are looking for weekly rent. This time of year no one will want to take the risk of a weekly rental and if they do they face being taxed the same as if it is a hotel room and that is usually furnished. Commit to a month at a time I think is your only hope. Good luck, check Craigslist too for the area you wish to rent in as well as local Property Managers.

You can also contact various landlords via their "for rent" signs, but realize that some landlords find the overhead for weekly rentals to be a major pain (because it's roughly 4 times the work for nearly the same amount).

Check the local papers for listings. Craigslist is also a good spot to look for temporary housing.
