Be mindful that such sites are third party and various sources feed the information, therefore if the data is not updated from the feeding source, inaccuracies can and do occur. For precise information consider working with an agent of your own.

Trulia is an excellent starting place but it is very important to connect with a real estate agent in the particular area you are interested in. Real estate agents know the territory locally and can provide the most up to date information.

The interjnet is great but has its flaws. People can self post on internet sites and the information does not have to be accurate or updated without penalty.

This is why you work with a Realtor. In most cases, you are not charged for the service and you get expert experience and quality information.

Let's face it, over 90% of home buyers/renters check out the internet first before consulting a realtor. This is a GREAT place to start, however, these sites feed from the MLS which us, as Brokers, have first hand, instant access to, BEFORE internet sites do. Consult a REALTOR, you'll be thankful you did!

These sites are a good place to start but you should really be working with a Realtor. The internet sites do not have strict rules regarding accuracy and up to date information as does the MLS. If you are seriously in the market to buy or rent, contact a Realtor.
