Fred is absolutely right. Since your office is in a great part of town, I would suggest that you look there. The Atlanta commute can be ridiculous, and to work close to home is a dream for most metro residents.

Hello Jon,
I would be glad to send you some rental listings if that would be helpful. Trulia is great, but the listings are often out of date. If you like I can directly connect you with the MLS system that agents use to get real-time listings.

On a personal note: I have a soft spot in my heart for Sandy Springs. My grandparents had an antique shop on Johnson Ferry Road for 40 years. They were just on the other side of the Chattahhoochee River, and the bridge only had one lane, so you had to wait your turn to drive across. You will love living near the river. There are beautiful hiking trails, and opportunities for kayaking and canoeing if that's your thing.

Let me know if I can help in any way!

Dunwoody & Sandy Springs are both nice areas, near your office. If schools are a priority you may want to check out East Cobb which is just a short drive from 30328. If you wouldn't mind sharing a few more details about your perfect home I might be able to give you better direction. Feel free to contact me directly; 404-372-9556. I grew up in Atlanta and know the metro area very well.

Stay as close to 30328 as possible so that you don't have to suffer from the communte. Most communities in that price range have a beautiful community pool. Sandy Springs, North Buckhead, Alpharetta, Cumming, Johns Creek, Milton are all excellent areas. If you have children, Alpharetta has superior public schools.

Let me know if I can do anything to assist you in your new home search. Feel free to review available homes on my website (link below).
