My fiance and I are currently looking to move. No credit, but have proof of income. Anyone know of any apartments in Harlem for $1000 or less?

Hi Khristina,

It's not that easy to find an apartment for $1000 or less in Harlem but good deals do exist so it's not totally impossible. Having "no credit" is better than having "bad credit" so as long as you have a combined household income of at least $40,000 which you can each document with an employment letter, pay stubs, W2's & tax returns then you can still get an apartment.

Looking forward,

Dear Khristina, in addition to the comments below I would propose that if you can put up additional security in lieu of the lack of credit this might help. Best of luck

Hi Kristina!
With no credit, you are going to need a guarantor to get an apartment. $1000 is not much but if you have a guarantor you can fine something.
