Did you know you can buy for less than renting in most cases?

The fact of the matter is that we as Realtors don't get all the available listings that are out there. Believe it or not, lots of apartments just put a sign on the front lawn. The ones we do tend to get are high end listings. Many Realtors do not work with Rentals at all so that is the reason you are having trouble. I recommend you try westside rentals for a start and then just take a weekend drive around the neighborhoods you are interested in and look for "For Rent" signs. The manager is normally on site in those buildings.
