I am a retired veteran with family of 4 looking for a ren to own home in the range of $1100-$1250 per month. I do have credit challenges, currently working, and receiving benefits. Can you assist me in looking for RTO properties in the Northeast area (29229). Thanks, Myron McGee
Rent to own is always a tricky situation. Even a lease option can sometimes get a little hairy. If you are able to buy and want to buy, then it would be best to go ahead and buy out right rather than being tied up in a lease agreement. However, there are homes on the market that you can rent with the option to buy.
Renting with an option to buy is usually a tricky situation. There are companys out there that will rent a house to you with the option to buy. The problem is you never own the home until they are ready to turn it over to you. It can take months or years or in most cases (Ive seen) it never happens. Contact me and lets discuss other options in addition to renting to own.
After doing a basic search of MLS for potential Rent-to-Own opportunities, 61 potential listings appeared in my query. Along with my listings and some other contacts, I am aware of a handful of other homes that could meet your needs.
