There is also public transportation through the county (collier)CAT system that travels th entire length North to South on collier Blvd and Bald Eagle Dr, and East to West on San Marco road. WE also have cabs that are very inexpensive, less than $8 anywhere on the island, and Uber drivers.
Link to county CAT service.

It is not difficult. They have street lights and cross walk areas where the traffic must stop for a red light. If you REALLY wanna play it safe, purchase an annual Florida state park pass at Birch state park for $60 + tax and then park in Birch state park and they have an under ground walk way that goes under A1A (the road you cross to get to the beach). This way you walk UNDER the road instead of across it. ... more

John,

The unit you are inquiring about is located in one of my favorite little communities quietly tucked away near Old Port Cove and Lost Tree on Jack Nicklaus Boulevard (PGA) before it heads over to the white sands of Singer Island. Easy access to the areas best shopping and restaurants along PGA Boulevard and US1. Close to the amazing beaches in Jupiter/Juno Beach and Singer Island. If you are an outdoor enthusiast the John D MacArther Beach State Park is one of our areas hidden treasures. A day in your kayak around these waters and you will be lost in an island in time just a minute or so from your home in Twelve Oaks. And access it downtown West Palm Beach is very easy; maybe 20 minutes down US1.

There are a couple different product types available in Twelve Oaks and we currently have three listings with 8 sales over the past year so inventory like most locations is very low. We have a complete analysis of the unit you inquired available so please feel free to reach out to us if we can be of any help at all.

Best of luck and if I can offer anything additional please let me know.

We will arrive at Fort Lauderdale Airport and then take a shuttle to the Tri Rail. We will then take the Tri Rail train to Delray Beach. At the Delray station we will take the trolley down Atlantic and then call the Downtowner (free taxi) to our condo. Will use bikes for two weeks and if necessary the downtowner and trolley. No car. Train is $5. Can't beat that! ... more

You can avoid the tolls by taking I-4 from I-75 to downtown Tampa, but that route becomes very congested during morning and afternoon commute times. Which is why people are willing to pay to use the expressway. ... more

The 1st time program changes depending on the bank you use.

Check in with Mike Alvarez about what CURRENT 1st time buyer program is in place with his banks.

He has been in the buisness over 20 years. He also has on his website a very informative 1st time buyer "Check List"

It is about a 24 minutes walk to Palm Ave. Could be less depending on how fast of a walker you are.
