Dear Yanking,
Yes. There are several places that admit dogs. For example, the Royal Club Condo is a pet-friendly building. It is located on 2457 Collins Ave. Miami Beach, FL 33140.

I can help you find your pet-friendly place.
Fondly.

Sorry but I'm using my mom's account for this but I have some answers for you. My oldest sister has special needs so we also had to move to make sure she got proper care in her education. Pershing Elementary was where we went for a while. They have took good care of my sister there. She still smiles when she talks about her time there. Blankner is a K-8 school next to Boone High School and I believe they also had good program for kids like your son. (I have friends that attended who had speech problems and one is dyslexic.) Conway Middle School is where she and I both went (different times) but they also cared deeply about their students with special needs. My sister is very difficult but can be easy if you can treat her like a human, which these schools did. Boone High School has almost an entire floor dedicated to those with special needs. They even have Best Buddies at Conway Middle and Boone High School for your son to get more involved if he likes. My sister did it all throughout high school and loved it. (She was very proud to be the advisor for Best Buddies at the Sweet Heart Court). This is just my honest opinion of the schools I know of in the Conway area that have these programs. Boone also has a lot more to offer once he's in high school. And if he is into Anime, my friends and I rebooted the anime club there and will be more than welcome to join with open arms. We don't judge. It was part of our policy. Only time will tell I guess. I hope this helped some. ... more
