Hi, Commission rates are negotiable and can vary. The key to negotiating the best rate is to compare and interview several agents in your local area. We started UpNest ( to help you compare top agents that compete to earn your business. Since agents compete for you, they offer their very best rates and services. You'll also get to "comparison shop" like you do for all the other things you usually pay for. It's free and there's no risk to try us out, Good luck! ... more

There are houses in Union that are listed at 9.95 per 1000 and there are others that are listed for 12.87 per 1000. In Florence there are houses listed for 10.11 per 1000 and 12.57 per 1000. They are all relatively close to each other.

We just moved from Ohio to Kentucky because of the lowered tax rates and cost of living.

FYI: not all places in Northern Kentucky necessarily have lower tax rates than Ohio.

We were paying roughly $20 per $1000 where we used to live. Plus our sewer rates were $390.00 every 3 months where as in Kentucky where we just moved they are roughly $120 every 3 months.

Not to mention we got a house that is 600 sq ft larger for $30,000 less expensive.

Needless to say, we are very happy.
