Flint has great areas at a wonderfully cheap value. Lived here for years safely and with no problem. Theres been a lot of money/improvement put into the city. People that tell you to avoid Flint usually haven't lived here. Flint cultural area is great and close to amenities. Close to Kearsley schools is also a nice/even better place to live and close to outlying cities like Davison. ... more

On Mason, over in University District by Mason and 1st-5th it is a progressing neighborhood. Victorian homes being restored and renters I renting here. There is a group of people that shovel sidewalks after every snowfall. Coffee shop within walking distance, a little dog park, etc... I feel like this neighborhood is the place to be at in Flint.

If you need help, I'm a Realtor with Remax Real Estate Team, and I have some great knowledge on the Flint market.
