Who pays the negotiator is also part of the negotiation process. The bank who is being paid short will not pay any 3rd party negotiaion fees. My personal opinion, if the listing agent can't or won't negotiate their own short sale then they shouldn't take short sale listings. I will not have my buyers pay for something the listing agent should be paying for. Here's the downside, if you don't pay for it there will be another buyer out there who will. How bad do you want this house? Ask your agent if they will split the fee with you. ... more

Hi Granfran,

I can email a comparative market analysis and if you would like to move from there I can come to your home and we can discuss what similar houses have recently sold near yours in similar condition.

Assist 2 Sell is a full service Company that simplyy charges less. $2995 as opposed to a common 6%.

It just takes a few minutes to complete a market analysis. This is the best time of year to list your home and if you price it right you may just sell it to one of the many buyers that are actively searching to find a home before the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit deadline.

Good luck to you and I hope the sale of your home is a smooth process.
Sincerely,
Julie Broderick
