Hi Mark,

Good question and best to check into it before you start the buying process.

It will probably be best for you to consult with a reputable lender in order to view you entire financial history. They can tell you what course of action you will need to take with the judgment, whether it needs to be paid off or not. Or whether it will interfere with you qualifying for the type of loan you will need to purchase a home.
