Mike, I'm not copmletely sure about what specific tax information you are looking for but I'm sure you'll be happy to know that there is no personal income tax in Alaska. The state uses the taxes its levies, mostly on petroleum that pays for the state's expenses and operations.

As for property tax, it depends on what area you are in in Alaska. Each city and county will have different levels of property tax, just as it is different depending on county here in the Bay Area. Some of the areas in Alaska don't even have any property tax, but there are some cities that fall under taxable regions.
