Hello! Agreed, no need to pay upfront to anyone. I'm a 10+ year Mortgage Advisor in the San Francisco Bay Area and a few months back I hosted a FREE DIY Loan Mod course for anyone who wanted to know if they were a good candidate for a Loan Mod and or how to go about requesting one. I'm in the process of posting the materials to my website http://www.OwnRealEstateRight.com (should be up by the end of the week) do to continued demand for them. In the meantime, I'd be happy to forward them to you via email if you would like the information sooner. You can contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
I can refer you to a 30-year experienced Realtor who not only charges no upfront fee, if he doesn't get you the modification there's no charge at all. He's in Walnut Creekik, so Milpitas might be a little far, but send me a private email if you'd like his name & number
Never ever pay a fee for a loan modification. Go to http://www.makinghomeaffordable.gov and download the forms to submit to your lender or go to a HUD certified counseling agensy for help. If you don't know of any agencies near you check the http://www.hud.gov website to find a location near you or call 1888-995-HELP.
