Some lenders have programs that go as low as 580. Please feel free to contact me with lender contact info. As several of the other post have already stated, debt to income and other things play a role.

Hi Christine,

Hope this reply finds you doing well.

Your credit score is just one slice of the pie. You will need to talk to a lending institution or a mortgage broker. Request to be pre-qualified in writing. Being "pre-qualified" will place you in a better position when it's time to make an offer on the home of your dreams!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and/or concerns.

Thanks a MIllon!

Christine. Your credit score is only a" piece" in
the profile you must have to obtain a loan.
JobHistory- showing consistant employment,
Reasonable use of credit,with demonstrated
ability to repay on a timely basis all weigh heavily!
Your ability to save as well as your Debts will be scruitinzed
as indications as to How your Income can "cover"
the monthly Mortgage payment. You will
" Qualify "' as michelle pointed out,
for an amount determined more by these and
other factors.
FHA and other Government Sponsored Loans allow
for lower credit scores but only with the presence of
" Compensating " Factors and Reasonable
explainations for negative credit items. A 620 credit
score will allow you to make a " showing". The
Decision on a Loan will be made on the basis
of What you have to present -looking further.
As pointed out, contact with an approved Lender will
give you valuable "feed-back" in advance going through
the formal approval process ! Still in doubt? Contact me
directly and I'll share some mortgage sources. Glad to help!

Hi Christine,

Your best bet is to talk to a lending institution or a mortgage broker. There are many variables involved. During the process, ask to be pre-qualified in writing. Being "pre-qualified" will place you in a better position when it's time to make an offer on the property of your dreams!

Best of luck!

Hi,

You may want to contact a mortgage broker. It depends on your debt to income ratio. You may also have to put more money down, but you really should contact your local bank or a mortgage broker. I can recommend a really good one that I use for all of my customers. Please feel free to contact me at -- 561-633-1020 or email me directly at michele938@aol.com.

Good luck :)
