Loans on non-owner occupied properties are definitely harder to acquire and they have more expensive closing costs. My lender recently wrote this blog post linked below that had a good explanation of income property financing.

Jpn most investment style mortgages will require 20% dpwn, what is available will depend on your credit and type of property. Start with a local and trusted loan officer who can prequalifiy you at no cost and let you know what is available to you.
