Currently we are looking at 8 additional days from the time the loan has been approved through underwriting and it is submitted to USDA. They are getting slightly better at handling the volume of these loans.

Current turn times in Utah are around 15-17 business days. This after the loan has been approved by the lender and then submitted to the Utah USDA office.

The turnaround times are different with EVERY single USDA field office. Once the lender approves your loan application it needs to go to the local USDA office to receive their approval. This could take anywhere from a week to 8 weeks from what I have observed.

Don't count on any speediness when it comes to the government!

Best of luck Jacob!!
