My husband and I have poor credit scores but both have great income and virtually no debt, could we get financed?

You need to speak with a lender who can tell you if you will qualify or not. A good lender can also give you advice on how to improve your credit score so even if you don't qualify now you can start working towards qualifying.

There are other factors besides credit that determine mortgage qualification, therefore for a personalized answer on qualification, do visit with any licensed loan officer; be aware that a mortgage pre-approval letter is required in order to determine your price range and for any offers to be taken seriously.

I think all traditional lenders have minimum credit score thresholds, some loans require them while others are lender overlays.

Most likely if you have a decent down payment. Speak with a Mortgage professional & see what your options are.
