I guess the question is - are you coming to Tampa without a job in place or are you worried that since you are changing jobs that you would not qualify for a loan? If you have new position here but it is a different job than what you have currently it may not be an issue. If you are transferring to Florida after finishing school - you may still have options. I have worked with newly graduated doctors, transferring teachers, etc. Try checking to see if you new position falls within FHA guidelines because they have some unique programs for people who are relocating. It's gonna require a 25-30% down payment and at least a 680 credit core.
