Hello ajcustomdoors,

You are picking a great time to look at purchasing a home - FICO scores are very important, your first step is speaking with a Lender.

By conversing with a lender, you'll determine the following:

1. Your Loan FICO
2. Your Credit Issues if any
3. If you need to actually work on getting a credit issue resolved
4. Do you have sufficient downpayment?

I have 2 local Antelope Valley Lenders that I recommend to potential buyers, please call one or both and have a discusssion with them to determine what you can or can't do right now in purchasing a home:

Paul Porteus w/Prospect Mortgage Company
(661) 547-1250
Online application: http://www.PaulPorteusLoans.com

OR

Joseph Fernando w/Peformance Mortgage
(661) 349-4770

When you are ready to look at homes, I'd be happy to assist you, but step 1 does need to be speaking to a Lender.

Best of Luck,
