I still plan on using this broker, I would like to confirm whether these fees are valid with another mortgage professional. Is anyone willing to discuss this with me just for verification? I still plan on using this broker for the mortgage.

Doug, my primary mortgage broker is in Walnut Creek. His name is Bob Cooley. I have been working with him for over 20 years and he is the best in the business. His office phone is (925) 906-8166. Good luck.

The prudent thing to do is to run another lender program in parallel to yours in case something falls apart with your lender. That is happening much more often these days even if your lender is a solid choice. Sometimes the loan program that you are both relying on gets pulled away by the company or the source of loan that your lender is counting on. This technique will also get you the answers that you had re your costs and fees. Good Luck-- i strongly recommend Wendy Cutrufelli at 877279 3639 if you need another loan source and a great helper with many of your financial planning needs.

Please note that I'm looking for someone local in the Walnut Creek/Lamorinda/Concord area I can actually meet face to face. I apologize for any misunderstanding.
