HARP Lender

Asked by Alex807, 48375 Wed Nov 23, 2011

BOA sold my mortgage to Seterus. I just realized my loan is owned by Fannie Mae, and I would like to utilize the HARP program. Since Seterus only services my loan, they cannot offer a refinance under the HARP program. The suggested I use quicken, and I said I would look around. My only experience with Quicken, is the 2 calls a day I get from them for the last 90 days because I called them.

Does anyone have any good references?

What is your LTV. If it above 100%, you should wait until Dec 1 for the new HARP.

Hi, Alex. I can assit you with that. However, more definitive guidelines regarding HARP 2 will be rolled out and/or solidified by December 1. I would wait to contact/consult with your lender of choice then. Good luck.

There are new details available for the HARP program, there were recent changes to the program. It looks like the HARP program will actually help a lot of people that the pervious version of the program didn't help. Check out the details and FAQ's at

Hello Alex807,

The new expanded guidelines for HARP programs will be implemented as early as December 1st. To qualify for Fannie's HARP program your loan must have been delivered to Fannie prior to 5/31/2009. Since you have already know the home is Fannie Mae invested I am assuming you have used the lookup tool. If not I will put the link below.
