Hello again,
Just checking back in to see if you were able to resolve your housing situation in the Palm Springs area. Having a fixed income should have enabled you to negotiate fair terms on a loan modification, and thereby keep your home. We all hope for the best for your future!

Hello Dr Barbie,

I have a mobile home listed here on Trulia, which is available for apx. $25,000. in a senior park here in Camarillo, CA. The space fees are $650./month. Camarillo's temperatures are quite pleasant, especially in the summertime, since we are only apx. ten miles from the Pacific Ocean. Camarillo is 2 hours from the Desert Communities near Palm Springs. In the event you have a substantial nest egg, you can purchase real estate through a reverse mortgage, even if you are unemployed and have had a foreclosure. Good luck in your home search!
