Does anyone have any recent experiences or tips regarding mortgage modification?

I am working with a reporter in the Phoenix area, who is looking at loans that were in default and then modified, but borrowers could not pay it back due to foreclosures.

The best advice is get a professional on your side. Do you want to negoiate a contract with a large bank or lender by yourself?

Hi Sarah,

I have a person for you to call, her name is Cindy Lysek with the Aliani group. They work with the banks on assisting home owners who are in trouble. Her number is 714-393-4204, they are in California but work with people all over the U.S.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Sarah,

The experience that I have so far have been very negative. Most banks are not being realistic or fair with their proposals for loan modification, in most cases they don't really help the client. I have not seen a succesful one so far!
