My Husband is from Bangor. We miss the snow wicked bad. He works on Fort Bragg and we decided to buy shortly after moving here. This way our Home could become a future investment for when we are able to retire.

Their are many great neighborhoods around Fort Bragg. Each one will suit a families needs and lifestyles. You can buy here for much cheaper than you can rent; with many nice Homes under $100,000 or even $80,000.

If you want I can start looking now for you and show you around when you get into Town. Chances are my Husband will know the perfect Home for you, making your transition from back Home to here.
Weather you decide to rent or buy, I will help you.

I wish your move the Best!

Very respectfully,
Katrina Harvey

Hello Kay, Are you only interested in New York City or are you open to the outlying areas? Depending on what you are looking for you might be able to fnd something. How is your credit score? You may also wish to check Craigslist as there might be listings there that are more lenient. If you do go that route, please please please be very careful. If you have someone, a friend or family member, I strongly advise that they go with you for added security. You should also not part with any funds until you have seen the place and are satisfied and that you get all of the terms in writing.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I am based in New Jersey. John Westrich

Hello Estrella

The best thing to do when searching for a place to live as far as safety is to call the local police. They will be able to tell you in general terms how many calls and so forth from this apt complex to that neighborhood. Or you may want to try, Family Watch Dog or CrimeStoppers as online resources. Also, School Matters or GreatSchoool.org for schools. ... more

Some property management companies who represent the landlord/owner may have a policy /agreement to the extent of not working with a no lower than. However, it is ultimately the owner/landlord that makes the final decision in whether or not they will take less than desirable credit scores.

It is something that will best be answered when you have certain properties in mind. It will be a case by case scenario.
