I would suggest that you talk to a lender or two and see whether you can get approved for a loan or perhaps need to build your credit. Let me know if you want me refer you to lenders that I usually work with.

Obviously I'm sure that you've likely found "your" home by now but wanted to post for any others seeking this information. Interview several agents; find one you like and am comfortable with as the next few months of your home search will be a journey. Also very important--find someone who is very familiar with the AREA and can assist you on the atmosphere, schools, neighborhood conveniences, etc, etc.

I grew up in this area and would love to represent anyone thinking of building, buying, or selling a home in Farmersville.
