Both are good towns in CT but it truly depends on the neighborhood. In both of these areas, there are "more desirable" parts of town. Both are near NY and great for commuters. Really depends on neighborhood. ... more

I wouldn't necessarily view it as $668 per sqft. It's $679K for .5 an acre in Westport. Westport is a home builder's market right now for homes under $1M. They are trying to capitalize on what's going on, however, they should be working directly with builders, and they should be able to clear $600K. ... more

It is a very difficult situation indeed and one I'm very familiar with in this current market. The best option is to request a short sale from the bank which is better than walking away and having the bank foreclosed on the property. Foreclosure has a longer-term effect on your credit. I am available to discuss other options with you should you need additional information. Feel free to give me a call, text or email.

Dear Rdykhouse
Actually high schoolers living in the Greenfield Hill area of Fairfield go to Warde High School. The public school website address is and there is lots of great information on there including school performance reports so you can see how the two high schools - Warde and Ludlow compare.
Also if you click on the Transportation icon and scroll down you will find a Master Street List which shows you which schools you feed to from the different streets in town.
Please let me know if you need any more information about the area. Greenfield Hill is a really beautiful neighborhood with many historic houses.

Best regards

The New Canaan Advertiser will post weekly home sales, however, it will not provide a comprehensive look at the past year sales, prices, locations, square footage, etc. Your Realtor can run a search that will provide answers to all categories that you request. It is simple to do, and as your Realtor has access to the Multiple Listing Service, it will be up-to-date and complete.

Daniel D. Thomas answered:
Hi Hauzmen,

Thank you for your question. The 06606 zip code is a highly desirable location for Multi-Family buyers in Bridgeport. Not only is the area one of the most sought after for families, but it also demands one of the highest rental rates per sqft of the city. With that said, quality multi-families in the area sell fairly quickly leaving a low inventory. In today’s current market where interest rates are low, and prices increased, we have a higher demand than supply. The key is to aggressively watch the market and be ready to purchase as soon as something that fits your criteria becomes available. Feel free to contact me should you need any help in the process.

This unit is located in Rolling Ridge which offers wonderful amenities such as a club house, platform tennis courts and an amazing pool and pond. Common charges are $384/month and includes heat, which with gas & oil prices really is a bargain. It is one of the better selling complexes in Norwalk and at this price is a good buy.
