That is my one word answer. Gary pretty much summed up the Music scene in Fairfax. There is a thriving outdoor community here and the trails are a common meeting place. Yes, there is a great Farmer's market, as well as a number of other fairs and/or festivals. The great majority of Fairfax residents enjoy a good time, and a good time seems easy to find here. ... more

Whay type of running do you like?
There is multi-use path that allows you to run from Fairfax into Sausalito and over the GG Bridge. There is also a virtually endless network of trails if trail running or hiking is your thing. There is a strong outdoor community in Farirfax, and some great bars and restaurants to finish off the workout. ... more
