Hello Dean,

Thank you, for your questions.
Lincoln County (In general) is rural,so it's not difficult finding properties "Out of town & secluded," however, we are only 45 minutes from Whitefish and just over an hour from Kalispell. Lincoln County is unique in that we have very few restrictions and there is no zoning; permits are required for septic & electric.
We are located in the heart of The Tobacco Valley, with one of the mildest climates in the entire state. In the valley itself, we see very little standing snow but, as you move into the "foothills" of The Rockies, the snow pack stands. The average Temps (High & Low), Precipitation and Snowfall (Numbers shown, are in the order in which I've listed them here, i.e. temps high and low first, precip..and so on) are as follows:

Jan: 28.5 13.4 1.19 13.5
Feb: 38.5 20.6 0.81 6.6
Mar: 47.6 25.8 0.80 4.5
Apr: 59.0 32.4 0.84 0.8
May: 68.7 39.6 1.47 n/a
Jun: 76.3 45.6 2.03 n/a
Jul: 84.9 48.9 1.12 n/a
Aug: 83.2 47.5 1.22 n/a
Sep: 71.9 39.6 1.29 0.1
Oct: 57.1 32.0 0.95 0.5
Nov: 40.1 25.2 1.16 6.2
Dec: 30.6 17.3 1.24 14.0

Total Average Precipitation per year: 14.12
Total Average Snowfall per year: 46.2
(1960-present)

I sincerely hope this helps and if you have additional questions, I'm happy to help. :)

Respectfully,

Kyle
