Best place for a young, single, professional in Sacramento, CA

Asked by Sam, 44136 Sat Mar 13, 2010

I am currently living in Strongsville, OH and may be moving to Sacramento for my job. I am single and in my 20's. I would be looking to live fairly close to an airport and in an area where there are other young singles. What would the best area be for me in Sacramento? Thanks!

There's a number of great places to live in Davis, and depends mostly on how close you want to be to the airport. The closest neighborhood (with all of the city amenities) would be North Natomas, where you can pick up a condo for as low as 75-100k right now in a gated community. If you want a more active lifestyle then Midtown or Davis (although quite pricey) is the way to go.

How much space would you need?

Midtown, like Tracy said... I would recommend east of 19th though.

16th and 17th are a bit gritty.
