I was born, raised and lived in Oakland for 47 years. We moved to El Sobrante because we found a beautiful house on a quiet country road where our neighbors have horses and we have a creek that runs through our back yard. All for about half what a house in the Oakland hills would cost. We left Oakland kind of kicking and screaming and now after 2 years we laugh that we thought we'd miss living in Oakland.
