Many rental companies/landlords will overlook bad credit if you can prove you have an income to support the rental price. Make sure you disclose your credit in the beginning BEFORE you spend money on a credit check. If they sound like they may not be favorable to your credit situation, you may want to go to another property....

The last I found 27 SFH in these three communites for under $80,000. Today there are 16, so yes there still are some. Most were built in the 1950's to 1970's, but there are a few from the 1980's and even two from 1999. ... more

Simple! In a nut shell find an agent that is willing to listen to your wants and needs. From there, if the lines of communication are open, then it should be easy. It also helps if your agent is familiar with the areas your are interested in investing. :-)
