If you can prove to landlords that you are working on improving your credit score and paying bills on time, you should find a landlord willing to accept you. You may also need to pay additional money upfront as security so a landlord will have the rent money in advance.
Bottom line: landlords need a guarantee that you will pay the rent on time every month. Prove it in writing with paid bills and no late charges on the bills.
