What makes a home "difficult" to sell has a number of answers. Yes, certain towns have more demand than others, and the mantra in real estate is "location, location, location!" In this case, South Windsor in general does have a greater demand than East Windsor as measured by the number of homes that sell monthly. On the other hand, these two communities are not exactly "equal". East Windsor is more rural in character than South Windsor, smaller population, smaller schools, generally a bit less affluent overall. These things impact the desirability of one town over another, depending on your buyer preferences. Other things that make a house "difficult" to sell: is the property properly PRICED? Is it on a main road? Is it in a very densely populated area or sited extremely close to its neighbors? Is there a negative site influence, a steep hill, a brook, a commercial property, a negative view, for example?
