The property that you have tagged is a recording of a transfer of property that was in forclosure, no one wanted it at the auction so the Bank got it for $1,000.00 If someone had been at the auction bidding, the bank would have bid it up to a price that they were willing to let it go for, but you can be sure it would be closer to the amount that they were forclosing it for.
But in this case, no one wanted it at the auction. The bank will eventualy list it or package it with others and sell to investors for rehab.
So, I am afraid it is misleading to think that you can buy a property in Brooklyn today for $1,000.00
