Hello,

I apologize we have an incorrect photo for your home on Trulia and I am happy to provide some insight on this. When a property is off market, the default image is provided to us from Google images of which we do not have the ability to edit or remove. Off market homes do not appear in general search results, so anyone browsing for listings in your area will not come across your property page. The only way to find your home on our site right now is if someone were to enter your exact property address.

Please be assured if you are intending to sell your home in the future, you (or your agent if you choose to use one), will have the ability to create a new listing with new photos, and submit the listing to Trulia.

The new listing will override the off market property page with the incorrect Google image photo.

However, if you are wanting to pursue this incorrect image further, my best recommendation is to contact Google directly to request they blur out the incorrect home. This change will translate to your page on Trulia. I understand this is not exactly the resolution you were looking for, and I do apologize for that. Here would be the steps if you choose to go this route:

From your Trulia property page, click 'View Map' on the bottom right of the Google image.
Click 'Street View'.
Click 'Report a problem'.
Fill out the form and click 'Submit'.

Regards,

Respect your integrity and keep your own voice.

It's all too easy to say things that sound good but don't make any sense. For example, saying you don't pay for leads when you're paying for a Trulia PRO account for leads. Or, recommending others try Trulia PRO when you're not a subscriber.

Don't give a me-too answer when 20 other agents have already answered exactly the same way. It may be an easy way to post answers, but eventually nobody knows what distinguishes you. Just give a thumb up when you see a good answer and keep looking for your own way to make a contribution.

Hi Steveosborn,

I don't see any listings associated with your account. If you can provide us with the address for the property you submitted, and forward the email that you received to us, that would help us begin to investigate the problem.

If possible, please submit that information to us via the link below.

Thank you,

It's a great time to take a look at e-mail systems. I met with a Trulia Voice yesterday in Dallas - Cindie Stewart is an AMAZING broker and one of the tops in the country with a keen sense for Internet marketing. Cindie and I share a pet peeve, real estate professionals using Hotmail and AOL and Yahoo! mail and other forms of digital delivery that are highly unreliable. Some studies estimate up to 18% of all LEGITIMATE e-mail originating at that genre provider NEVER reaches its intended destination.

Other providers range from poort to excellent. My favorite e-mail service is eMailPlus offered at InternetCrusade (link follows).

Hi Duke,

I've been able to confirm that the information you reported for your property is correct via your county appraiser's website. I've thus asked our engineers to update this data and to notify our data provider of the errors in the information they've sent to us.

Our public records info is only refreshed once per week so it will be several days before these changes update on our site. Thank you for your patience in the meantime and please let us know if you have any other concerns or questions.

Hi Darlene,

Please access the link below to add additional listings to Trulia. If you have only a few you can click the 'Get started' button to add them to our display manually, however if you have quite a few listings you may want to check out the other options listed on the page.

If you do add your listings to our site manually, you'll have the option to include open house information for the listings as well. If you don't add the listings manually, you can do it this way:

Find the "detail page" for the listing (you can do that just by searching for the address on Trulia). In the top right corner of the detail page, you'll see a "Tools" section. In the Tools section, there's a link that says "Submit open house times". Click this link and fill in the relevant date and time info.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Reed Island,

It's possible that this listing was just added to our display today. I did a search for this address and was brought to the listing shown at the link below. If you can let me know the exact terms you used to search when you encountered this error message, we'd greatly appreciate it as it will allow us to investigate this matter.

Thank you,
