We compare similar properties that have sold that are in the immediate area within half mile or mile that have the same school district or amenities. From there we can adjust the price based on the condition of the property or improvements made. I hope this helps!... more
When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local authorities with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
It's absurd that brokers from New York and California have "answered"...and have just referred you to the school district. If they don't know, they shouldn't answer.
This area is within the Waubonsie Valley HS boundary. There are no exceptions.

There are lots of ways to find out. On the listing itself is a map. If you click on Amenities, you'll see various businesses in the area. You can expand the map to see more, including grocery stores.
Another option is to put the address into your favorite map program, Bing maps or Google maps, and then request directions to Grocery store. I did the Google map attached.... more
