That is a large drop, so it could be affected by inquiries, credit card balance (keep under 50% of debt) or maybe balance is too close to limit (keep under 30%). You can go to and get your credit report from all the bureaus for free. Go through the reports and find out what is affecting your score.

Don't give up. Credit can go up, just as fast as it went down with help and a plan.
