The lease will determine the number of occupants in a unit.

I would use a local rental professional to save time and money and also to make sure you don't miss a great rental.

That depends on how Max is designed.
If Max is normal then it would be the normal number, unless you are counting all the joints, then is it many more.
If Max is not normal, or alien so to speak, then it could be more or less. ... more

There may be some part of your request that is causing their action or in-action.
I would go into a local office that advertises rentals and ask for their most experienced agent and their least experienced agent.
Interview them both -separately, and ask why you haven't been helped already as part of your questions.
You may find there is a flaw in your request.

Hello Seileen,

When it comes to crime and safety in a neighborhood, your best bet is to go directly to the source of such information: Make a visit to the local police department. They will have details on the number and types of crimes committed in the area. Good luck! ... more

I don't have the iPhone or the app. However, recognize that a lot of apps present stripped-down information. (In fact, the better ones do.) So it may be that the Trulia app doesn't display all the information you'd find on the site itself. For that, use your phone's browser and go to the full site.

Hope that helps.

If you bought it with the current layout, won't there be another person who will like it that way too? Or, is the layout very unique for the complex, price-point, or area? Find out how long it was on the market before and if it was because of the layout/bathroom issue you have asked about or something else. Make sure you are working to solve the correct problem. ... more

Hi Corb, you have some good info given already, I would add that in addition to talking to the present lender and your Real Estate Attorney, you also contact your CPA. There are potentially serious tax issues you should be aware of and make a part of your decision making!
Best regards, Jim

Home Buying in Dorchester-
Well, I think you have a resounding answer. We all feel very strongly about you having the representation you deserve at what should be at no cost to you.

If you are looking to find a professsional in the Dorchester area take a look at your Massachusetts Association of Realtors website to find a Realtor that you feel is a good match for you.

I agree with the comment made by Colin Emmons about seeking out an agent that has earned the ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative, designation. I have the ABR designation and I feel that it is important education to have and that the agent you choose can utilize that knowledge to be helpful to you as a buyer.=

Hey Diane -

I've listed and sold numerous houses on Monadnock St. in Dorchester over the years.
The last one was just a week ago, and I like the street. There are some gorgeous turn of the century homes there
at a reasonable price.

I'd be glad to tell you who lives where, and introduce you to the folks I know on the street. I've been there at the crack of dawn, mid day, afternoons, evenings, weekdays & weekends - with never a problem. As with any neighborhood, I always say hello to whomever passes & lock the car doors>

Best of luck, Diane & welcome to Dorchester!
