Trulia does not support For Sale By Owner listings. All listings on Trulia are generated by the listing Real estate agent; Trulia scans the MLS data base and posts that information to their web site. If you have your home listed through a licensed Realtor then your listing should appear on Trulia within 72 hours after going live in the MLS system ... more

If you're an agent, set up a profile and see if you can pull it to Trulia by MLS #. If that doesn't work you will have to enter it manually.

Hello!
We cannot comment on crimes or "safety" of any area. My advice when it comes to Boston is go to the local police station. Each part of Boston has a local station.

It's a little more than half-way between Savin Hill and Field's Corner red line stations, closer to Field's Corner.

I was recently thinking about what a great time this is to be looking for an affordable unit(I know you are thinking I am crazy right now!) I have been a broker for 32 years and there have never been so many new buildings being built in that entire time The cranes are everywhere in Boston putting up rental developments. Each of the new construction properties has to provide some affordable housing.

Here is a link to some general house hunting advice
http://www.paragonproperties.com/boston-subsidized-housing/

Here is a list of new buildings being built;
http://boston.curbed.com/archives/2012/11/our-rental-heatmap-the-hubs-newest-apartment-buildings.php

Here is the city's list of ongoing new buildings and renovation.
http://www.bostonredevelopmentauthority.org/developmentprojects/devprojects.asp?action=ViewStatus&StatusID=8

You will need to copy and paste those links.....but it could be very helpful!

I would put together a nice email and use the internet to contact every one of the projects mentioned above. I bet you can end up with a nice place in a nice building! Good Luck, Doug
