The dues are currently accessed at $65 per month; however, if you pay by the month there is a $1.50 processing charge. If you pay annually you only pay $745, which is a savings of $35 and you also receive $30 in gift certificates to the country club. The dues were reduced in 2013. Taxes are higher now that Diamondhead is a city but in line with all the surrounding communities and not as high as some. The current mayor has had them slightly decreased and will continue to keep it in line. The reason it got so high was the original committee was trying to do too much too fast. With all that said, I honestly believe they will not go higher for some time.... more
